Cannot undelegate energy
Why Stake 2.0 undelegate fails during the lock, what to do instead of a seed-phrase unlock, and how to unwind delegated energy in the right order.
The lock is doing what you signed
DelegateResource includes a lock period. During that period the chain rejects undelegate. Wallets surface this as a generic failure, which is why people search for a bug. Check the remaining lock on that delegation before you assume TronLink is broken.
If you delegated to a rental customer or a friend, you chose that lock. Waiting is the protocol path. There is no official skip.
Wrong order: unstake while energy is still lent
Unstaking TRX that still has energy delegated out will fail or strand the resource accounting. Undelegate after the delegation lock, then unstake, then withdraw after the unstake wait. Skipping to unstake because “I need the TRX today” is how this problem page gets traffic.
If you are the receiver, you cannot undelegate someone else’s resource. Only the delegator can. Asking the receiver for a seed to “release the lock” is a scam dressed as support.
Confirm which resource is locked
You might be trying to undelegate energy while the live lock is on bandwidth, or the reverse. Explorers and TronLink list delegated resource by type. The delegated-energy checker helps you see whether the receiver still holds an energy ceiling that matches your stake.
If EnergyLimit on the receiver already dropped, the delegation may have expired even if the wallet still shows a stuck button. Refresh before you sign another undelegate.
Unlock services are not a TRON feature
Any DApp that promises to undelegate instantly for a fee, or that needs your seed to “clear delegated energy,” is theft or at best a useless payment. This independent desk cannot undelegate for you. Optional deep scan cannot either; it is read-only at about 2–3 TRX.
We will never ask for a seed phrase. Neither will a real Stake 2.0 undelegate in TronLink — it is a signature, not a mnemonic form.
What to do instead
Read the lock remaining. Wait. Undelegate when the chain allows it. Then unstake if you still want the TRX out. If a counterparty must stop using your energy now, you still cannot break the lock you signed; you can only wait.

Why can’t I undelegate energy?
Usually the delegation lock is still active, or you are trying to unstake before undelegating. The chain enforces that order.
Can the receiver undelegate?
No. Only the account that delegated can undelegate. The receiver just loses EnergyLimit when you do.
Is there a way to skip the lock?
No protocol skip. Sites that sell a skip for TRX or a seed phrase are scams.
I unstaked first. Now what?
You may be stuck until locks expire and the wallet lets you finish undelegate/unstake in the legal order. Do not pay a stranger to “repair stake.”
Does this affect the receiver’s USDT sends?
When undelegate finally lands, their EnergyLimit drops. Their next USDT send may fail or burn TRX unless they have their own energy.
Will this website undelegate for me?
No. Sign undelegate in your wallet after the lock. We only read public state.
