Check energy in TronLink

Where TronLink shows energy and bandwidth, how to match EnergyLimit with this checker, and why a resource screenshot is not a safety proof.

The resource tab is the wallet’s getaccountresource

TronLink exposes energy and bandwidth on a resource tab: available energy, usage, frozen or staked TRX, and often a split between your stake and energy from others. Those rows are the same family of fields this checker reads from a public node.

If the tab is empty, you are probably on a newly created address, a wrong network, or a view that has not refreshed after a stake. Pull to refresh, then paste the same T-address here.

How to reconcile TronLink with this site

Compare remaining energy, not a single rounded badge. Remaining is Limit minus Used. If TronLink shows plenty and this checker shows near zero, you pasted a different address — a poisoning-style neighbour string is enough. Compare every character.

After a rental, both views should show a higher energy ceiling. If only the seller’s screenshot moved, the delegation did not hit your account. Believe the tab and the checker, not the chat.

A resource screenshot is not a character reference

OTC counterparties sometimes send a TronLink screenshot of fat energy as if it proved they are a real desk. Energy is cheap to rent for an hour. It says nothing about whether you should pay them.

Likewise, your own fat energy tank does not make a destination safe. Use resource numbers to decide whether your next USDT send will burn TRX, not whether a stranger is honest.

What TronLink will ask you to sign — and what it will not

Staking, unstaking, delegating, and sending USDT require a confirmation in TronLink. Viewing the resource tab does not. Any page that says TronLink needs your seed phrase typed into a form is not TronLink.

This independent desk’s optional deep scan is a separate read-only confirmation at about 2–3 TRX. It is not a TronLink setting and it does not import a wallet from a mnemonic.

When the tab and the checker still disagree

Wait for the latest block, switch TronLink node if your wallet allows it, and re-paste the address. If a delegation just landed, nodes can lag by seconds. Persistent disagreement with the same address is worth a public question to @wholetron with the T-address only.

Never send a seed, a TronLink backup, or a screenshot of a recovery phrase. We are not the TRON Foundation and not TronLink support.

FAQ

Where is energy in TronLink?

On the resource tab: energy and bandwidth meters, plus frozen or staked TRX. Remaining energy is what you can still spend on contracts.

Why does TronLink disagree with this checker?

Different address, node lag after a stake or rental, or mixing energy with bandwidth. Compare the full T-address and wait a moment.

Does viewing resources in TronLink cost TRX?

No. Viewing is free. Staking, sending, and optional deep scan on this site are separate actions.

Can I screenshot TronLink to prove I have energy?

You can, but screenshots are easy to fake and energy can be rented briefly. Counterparties should not treat it as identity.

Does TronLink ever need my seed in a website form?

No. If a form asks for the seed to “sync energy with TronLink,” it is a scam.

Is this site TronLink?

No. Independent energy screen. TronLink is a wallet. We never ask for a seed phrase.

What is deep scan if I already have TronLink?

An optional read-only confirmation on this desk, usually about 2–3 TRX. It does not replace the resource tab.
